（中央社義大利阿古莫里25日綜合外電報導）義大利中部昨天凌晨發生地震，造成至少159人罹難，搜救團隊徹夜搜索，試圖從城鎮遭夷平後留下的瓦礫堆中找出倖存者。

阿馬特里切鎮（Amatrice）是受到地震襲擊最為嚴重的小鎮之一，鎮長表示，1間在當地倒塌的旅館總共約有70名客人，目前僅尋獲7具遺體。

夷平了家園也使得馬路塌陷。地震威力之大，在北方的波隆那（Bologna）及南方的那不勒斯（Naples）都能感受到地震餘威，這2處距離震央皆超過220公里。

路透社報導，數以百計的人們睡在搜救人員於田野及停車場立起的帳篷，每個帳篷可容納12名家園被摧毀的災民，加布瑞里（Alessandro Gabrielli）是其中之一。

加布瑞里表示：「今晚將是我們的第1場惡夢」。

他說：「昨天晚上，我被1聲像是炸彈的聲音喚醒。」

搜救人員在黑夜中使用緊急照明燈，救出1名倖存的10歲女孩，她在特朗托（Pescara del Tronto）村莊的瓦礫堆下受困約17個小時。

其他許多小孩就沒如此幸運，附近的阿古莫里（Accumoli）村莊有一家4口，包括1名8個月大男嬰及1名9歲男童，在房屋受擠
